Collaborative Ventures

Opening Doors

A rich and constantly evolving programme of collaborative enrichment and development activities for ContinU learners, promoting access to professions, HE/FE and contributing to social mobility by developing a range of key personal competencies. 120+ events and 10,000+ participants in our first 3 and a half years!

WHP (Wyre Forest & Hagley Project)

Helping parents and carers to get the right kind of help, when they need it – for their child, for themselves or for the family as a whole. Aiming to help make things better at school and/or at home so the child can make the most of each school day.

ContinU Plus Academy

The establishment of the CPA is based on the successful track record of the Continu Trust in delivering high quality mainstream and Alternative Education provision. The CPA allows us to extend the depth and breadth of the provision to better meet the needs of young people and increase their educational outcomes and life chances.

Collaborative Careers Network

The ContinU trust has an established network of Careers Officers from its partners. Participating schools (and the college) also access the Collaborative Careers officer NEET Prevention Service, targeting those pupils with highest needs.

A key feature on our Collaborative Careers Network calendar of activities is our ‘Opening Doors To Business’ week in late June each year, where hundreds of students visit a number of different work places to get a taste of what local employers, large and small, have to offer. Click here for more info on the 2018 offer.

Best Of Health

The Trust is building on the range of interventions within and across schools to support the wellbeing of its students. This area will be available for the sharing of key activities and documents.
