Baxter College delivered assemblies to Year 8 pupils on “Sexting” as part of the 2015 Safer Internet Day.
The Community Ambassadors shared the presentation, explaining what “Sexting” was, the dangers and consequences of it and where you can go for help and advice. Check out their presentation which also includes information on body image.
The Haybridge Community Ambassadors delivered Safer Internet themed assemblies in school to mark SID 2015. All the ambassadors shared the presentation, which looked at digital footprints, inappropriate image sharing, the important of sharing issues with responsible adults and cyber-bullying but also looked at the positive and constructive ways the internet can be used – for example by raising funds and awareness for charities.
Community Ambassadors at Stourport High School have been busy raising awareness on internet safety as part of the national Safer Internet Day.
A informative presentation was given to Years 7, 8 and 9 covering topics such as music downloads, friends and chats, what you share, cyberbullying, sexting and trolling.
SHS Safer Internet Day 2015
The Hagley Community Ambassadors have created a Safer Internet Day leaflet which will be delivered to all Tutor Groups at the school, together with a very short presentation.

The Community Ambassadors at Baxter College were asked on behalf of the school, to show the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Barrie Sheldon and Inspector 3752 Edd Williams of The Safer Neighbourhood Team in Kidderminster around the school site on Friday 29th January 2015.
The Deputy PCC was interested in the work that the girls were doing in promoting safety messages, internet safety, domestic violence, anti-bullying, healthy relationships etc….to the other pupils at Baxter College in their role as Community Ambassadors.
